Ram is firing up the heavy-duty truck segment with two new entries—the 2026 Ram 2500 Warlock and the 2026 Ram 2500 Black Express. For diesel enthusiasts who crave Cummins power without breaking the bank, these new models hit the sweet spot. Both trucks are built on Ram’s cool Tradesman base trim, keeping the cost down while offering plenty of attitude, real capability, and diesel torque thanks to the available 6.7-liter Cummins High-Output turbodiesel.

With starting prices in the mid-$50,000 range (too bad that doesn’t include the Cummins option), the Warlock and Black Express prove that you don’t have to spend big to drive something bold. As Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis puts it:

Everyone likes a good-looking truck, but the challenge is making it affordable while adding value to the entire lineup. The Ram 2500 Black Express and Warlock offer an attractive price with custom appearance, while building on our sport truck leadership position.

Ram 2500 Black Express: Subtle Style, Big Attitude

If you’re looking for a stealthy, sporty diesel truck that keeps things clean and aggressive, the 2026 Ram 2500 Black Express delivers. It’s available as a Crew Cab in either 4×2 or 4×4 with long or short bed options, offering serious versatility.

The exterior is clean and coordinated. Body-color bumpers and grille surround, a sport performance hood, 20-inch black wheels, and black tubular side steps give it that trendy murdered-out sport truck vibe. Inside, you’ll find practical touches like cloth bench seats and carpeted floors, with front and rear ParkSense for daily drivability.

Priced at $53,735 (including destination), the Black Express is a $2,495 package upgrade over the Tradesman base. And yes, you can get it with the upgraded 6.7-liter Cummins, pumping out 430 horsepower and 1,075 lb-ft of torque, backed by the new Torqueflite HD eight-speed automatic. That’s diesel potency wrapped in blacked-out style—at a budget-friendly price.

Ram 2500 Warlock: Throwback Style with Off-Road Bite

The Warlock name has roots that reach back to the 1970s, and in 2026 it makes its first-ever debut in a heavy-duty configuration. Staying true to its heritage, the Ram 2500 Warlock brings a factory-custom, rugged persona to the HD game.

This Crew Cab 4×4 short bed (only) package comes with 34-inch Goodyear Duratrac A/T tires on diamond-cut 20-inch wheels, Bilstein off-road shocks, Hill Descent Control, anti-spin rear differential, and a transfer case skid plate. It’s an ideal truck for work, play, and off-roading.

Cosmetic details like the black grille surround, black flares, black bumpers, and a Warlock bedside decal give it a distinctive look. If you’re in the market for a Rebel but can’t get past the cost, the Warlock could be a good option. The Warlock package adds $2,995 to the Tradesman 4×4, bringing the starting price to $57,165 including destination—again, a serious value for a diesel-capable off-roader with real presence.

Under the hood, the 6.7-liter Cummins option transforms the Warlock into a torque monster with best-in-class pulling power, whether you’re hauling tots or headed deep into the woods.

    Leather-Free Diesel Value

In a truck market where fully loaded HDs can top $110,000, these new Ram offerings are breaths of fresh diesel. For less than $60,000, you can get Cummins torque, a modest interior, and legit capability—all while drawing more attention than a decked-out ¾-ton. Whether you prefer the urban muscle of the Black Express or the vintage off-road vibe of the Warlock, Ram’s got you covered.

Orders are now open. These limited-volume sport trucks will hit dealers in Q3 2025. For diesel fans, that’s right around the corner.
