The company will demonstrate the Apollo sensor and OPTIS platform for automotive, infrastructure, and logistics applications at the trade show

AEye has confirmed it will demonstrate its Apollo LiDAR sensor and OPTIS platform at CES 2026 in January. The company will also preview its next-generation ultra-long-range sensing technology at the trade show.

The Apollo sensor is a software-defined, long-range solution capable of detecting objects at distances up to one kilometre, in a compact form factor designed for behind-the-windshield integration in vehicles. AEye will feature live demonstrations of the sensor alongside applications for smart infrastructure and logistics.

The OPTIS platform combines Apollo LiDAR with computing to deliver real-time three-dimensional perception and analytics for drones, intelligent intersections, shipping corridors, and logistics hubs. According to the company, the solution aims to improve safety, efficiency, and operational visibility in complex environments.

“With unmatched range and real-time AI-driven perception, we’re helping our customers tackle complex transportation and infrastructure challenges with scalable solutions built for real-world deployment,” Matt Fisch, Chief Executive of AEye, said in a statement.

Fisch added that the company will announce its next-generation LiDAR with range capabilities extending beyond one kilometre, emphasising AEye’s continued focus on long-range and ultra-long-range perception technology.
