Audi has unveiled the A6L e-tron electric sedan and AUDI E SUV concept at the Guangzhou auto show. The launches form part of the automaker’s two-brand, two-partner strategy in China, with five new market-specific models introduced in the second half of 2025.
E SUV concept
The A6L e-tron represents the first all-electric sedan from Audi in China. The vehicle features a 107 kWh battery providing up to 770 km range according to CLTC standards, with an extended wheelbase of 132 mm and 800-volt charging technology. The model is manufactured at Audi FAW NEV Company in Changchun.
The AUDI E SUV concept previews the second model from the AUDI brand, a China-exclusive sister brand established with SAIC. The concept measures 5,057 mm in length with a 109 kWh battery offering over 700 km range. Two electric motors deliver combined output of 500 kW, with the production version set to launch in 2026.

In a statement, Gernot Döllner, Chief Executive of Audi, said: “We have realigned our setup in China for the future. As a result, with our two partners FAW and SAIC and with two brands, the largest model initiative in our company’s history is gaining momentum.”
Johannes Roscheck, President of Audi China, added: “We are acting with determination to secure Audi’s long-term success in China—building on our established leadership in combustion engines while progressively expanding our electric offerings.”
