    Average Ebit margins fell for 13 carmakers during Q1 2025, with Suzuki alone blissfully immune to tariff tensions. By Jonathan Storey

N.B. the volume figures for some OEMs include sales by non-consolidated ventures, particularly in China. So changes in volume are not fully comparable to changes in consolidated revenue. ‘Q1’ refers to fiscal Q4 for Japanese producers
