    Chevrolet Bolt returns as the US’ cheapest EV

    GM described the new Bolt as a limited run offering without specifying production volumes or timeline for programme conclusion. By Stewart Burnett

    General Motors has announced it will resurrect the Chevrolet Bolt nameplate for the 2027 model year with pricing below US$30,000, though the automaker describes the offering as a limited production run. The revived model, for which production volumes are not currently specified, will enter dealerships during Q1 2026.
