Lifter issues with Mopar’s Gen III Hemis are well-known. COMP Cams has a solution with its Non-MDS Lifters. They’re drop-in replacements for the factory non-MDS units and will keep all eight cylinders constantly engaged.
The lifter design enhances oil retention around the axle and bearing to help reduce wear and increase durability. Extra material is strategically placed at the bottom of the lifter to add strength and stiffness to the critical roller area.
COMP Cams Non-MDS Lifters come in sets of 16 with or without lifter yokes. If you have a Gen III Hemi with the MDS system, you will have to remove it and replace the factory lifter yokes with COMP’s lifter yokes. The lifters will fit 2003-’19 engines.
