Kailub Russell, eight-time Progressive Grand National Cross Country (GNCC Racing) Champion, posted a video on Instagram last week reporting that his North Carolina garage had been broken into overnight, and that 17 motorcycles had been stolen, including his current AmPro Yamaha race bikes and many of his championship-winning KTMs.

According to a report on Racer X, Russell had posted a bike for sale on Facebook Marketplace, but a friend recommended taking the listing down because he’d heard someone had been robbed after posting something similar. Apparently, Russell deleted the Marketplace listing; however, when he and his family woke up the following morning, his wife noticed that the garage was completely empty.

Russell shared his feelings on social media, stating he was “super distraught,” and noting that he and his wife were asleep when the robbery took place. “We were here asleep, my bedroom is like 75 feet away, I don’t know how I didn’t hear them. Every one of my championship bikes… They’re just gone. We’re all safe, but all of my bikes are just gone.”

According to Russell, most of the bikes that were stolen were championship-winning machines that are easily identifiable.

    Here’s a list of the motorcycles stolen from Kailub Russell’s garage: 2010 KTM 250 XC-F, 2013 KTM 350-XCF, 2014 KTM 350-XCF, 2015 KTM 350XC-F, 2015 KTM 250 SX-F Factory Edition, 2016 KTM 350-XCF, 2017 KTM 350 XCF, 2018 KTM 350 XCF, 2019 KTM 350 XCF, 2020 KTM 350 XCF, 2020 KTM 350 XCF Kailub Russell Edition, 2017 KLX 110, 2025 YZ65 (x2), 2025 YZFX 250F, 2025 YZ 450 F, and a 2025 Cobra Jr 50.

He’s hopeful that some of the motorcycles will turn up, asking his fans for help locating the stolen property. “If you guys come across any brand-new factory KTMs, reach out, let me know. I’m going to need some help” Russell shared on social media.
