Fleet Owl LLC, a portfolio company of Exuma Capital Partners, acquired SOS Trucking Software, a transportation management software provider with more than a decade of industry experience. The Exuma Capital SOS Software acquisition, according to the company, represents its strategic entry into the transportation technology sector.
Expanding in Transportation Technology
Exuma Capital said it acquired SOS Software Corp. for its track record in transportation management software and the opportunities tied to payment processing, fuel card and factoring partnerships. SOS currently supports about 4,000 trucks across 100 transportation and logistics companies.
Under Exuma Capital’s ownership, SOS will expand its resources, improve operational efficiencies, and introduce AI-driven tools for load dispatching and brokerage. The company also plans to extend beyond its Florida concentration, with new market growth targeted in Texas, Illinois, and California.
“The transportation management software sector presents growth potential, and SOS has built an exceptional product with remarkable customer loyalty,” said Anthony Perera, managing partner and founder of Exuma Capital Partners. “We see opportunities to scale this business through targeted marketing and technology investments while maintaining the high-quality service that has fueled their success.”
AI, Integrations, and New Opportunities
SOS Software Corp. offers a web-based platform with more than 40 integration partners, including major fuel providers, GPS services, factoring companies and financial institutions. Each year, the SOS platform supports more than $1 billion in freight transactions.
“This partnership will accelerate our expansion into new markets and fast-track our AI development roadmap,” said Juan Basanez, founder of SOS Software Corp. “With Exuma Capital’s resources and guidance, we’ll enhance our product offerings and deliver more powerful tools to transportation businesses.”
A Foundation of Growth and Loyalty
Since its founding, SOS Software Corp. has grown steadily by focusing on customer satisfaction and building a loyal client base. That loyalty has helped the company expand through referrals within the trucking and logistics industry. With Exuma Capital’s backing, SOS is positioned to advance both its technology and market reach, the company said.
