LG Electronics’ AI-powered in-vehicle solutions received a CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in the In-Vehicle Entertainment category

LG Electronics’ AI-powered in-vehicle solutions received a CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in the In-Vehicle Entertainment category, with the company demonstrating software-defined vehicle and intelligent in-cabin technologies at the Las Vegas show. The solutions are presented through three core systems covering displays, driver monitoring and entertainment.

The mobility display solution converts the windshield into a display surface for real-time driving information and mixed-reality content during autonomous operation. The automotive vision solution uses eye-tracking, driver monitoring and interior sensing to detect attention levels and passenger states, enabling adaptive safety functions and personalised interactions.

The in-vehicle entertainment solution supports seamless content streaming between home and vehicle and enables communication through vehicle side windows. LG said its on-device multimodal generative AI platform creates individualised experiences throughout journeys.

LG is presenting its technologies under the theme “Innovation in tune with you,” demonstrating what the company describes as a Sense-Think-Act operating model that applies AI across robots, appliances, vehicles and displays for adaptive, context-aware operations.

The company also introduced LG Actuator Axium, a brand of robotic actuators combining motors, drives and reducers into compact modules. LG said its experience in appliance motor design positions the actuators for applications in the robotics market.
