CAWA, which represents the automotive parts industry, announced that Motorcar Parts of America will be the exclusive sponsor of its 2025 annual dinner gala in conjunction with the AAPEX and SEMA trade shows in Las Vegas. The annual event highlights CAWA’s leadership and raises funds for the Association’s scholarship programs. Motorcar Parts of America has long supported these initiatives, aligning with its mission to strengthen the auto care industry.

    Gala Returns to Venetian Resort

The gala will take place at the Venetian Resort on Sunday evening, Nov. 2, 2025. Registration is now open for attendees. The event continues a tradition of gathering industry leaders, recognizing CAWA’s contributions, and building support for future professionals.

“I am excited to once again have MPA sponsor the CAWA scholarship dinner. It is a privilege and a necessity to bring talented professionals to our industry. Funds raised for scholarships are our commitment to the industry and signifies the DNA of MPA. Quality Built to Last,” said Selwyn Joffe, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Motorcar Parts of America.

Proceeds Support CAWA Memorial Scholarship Fund

Event proceeds will benefit the CAWA Memorial Scholarship Fund. The program promotes high standards through education in the auto care industry. Scholarships support students pursuing degrees or certificates at accredited schools and also benefit automotive high school teachers. Teacher support ensures programs remain viable and relevant.

CAWA scholarships reflect the organization’s commitment to training the next generation of industry professionals while investing in the educators who prepare them.

Long-Term Support from Motorcar Parts of America

Wayne Schaack of the Pronto Group and chair of the CAWA Board of Directors emphasized the impact of Motorcar Parts of America’s support. “We look forward to seeing our members and industry colleagues at the 2025 annual dinner gala in Las Vegas. CAWA and I are also pleased that Selwyn Joffe of Motorcar Parts of America will be the event’s exclusive sponsor and has been for the past 17 years! So, I will look forward to seeing you on November 2nd at the Venetian Resort & Spa to recognize CAWA’s leadership for their commitment to the Association and to raise funds for our future student and automotive high school teachers’ scholarships,” Schaack said.

“This year CAWA awarded 14 students and one automotive high school teacher scholarships and for the students they not only received a cash award from CAWA but thanks to NAPA Tools & Equipment they also received a $1,000 tool certificate,” he added.
