The Refinish Distributors Alliance (RDA) held its Fall Member Impact Performance Conference Sept. 23-25 at The Henry Hotel in Dearborn. Mich., where Executive Director Ben Jacobson welcomed a record turnout, which included RDA members, supporting vendor partners and valued guests.
Jacobson opened the meeting with RDA’s theme: “Accelerate Together: Partners, Performance, Progress.” The first part of the day was dedicated to member discussions and new business initiatives. The afternoon welcomed all guests and keynote speaker Dirk Beveridge, a leading advocate of change and innovation. The evening included a welcome reception, dinner and tour at the Ford Rouge Factory facility.
Day two featured the highly anticipated annual Rodeo, a dynamic one-on-one event that facilitated valuable relationship-building and opportunities between RDA members and supporting vendor partners. Attendees also enjoyed an insightful performance by Doug Dvork, who spoke about how to be motivated and achieve sales excellence. The evening concluded with a partner appreciation reception and dinner. John Pizzi, comedian and ventriloquist, closed out the night with an entertaining performance that did not disappoint.
