Cloud-based offering provides a system-level digital twin for software-defined vehicle development, leveraging Arm technology integration

Siemens has launched PAVE360 Automotive, a pre-integrated digital twin platform designed to accelerate the development of advanced driver assistance systems, autonomous driving, and in-vehicle infotainment systems. According to the company, the cloud-based offering aims to reduce setup time from months to days by providing an off-the-shelf solution that eliminates the need for manufacturers to build their own digital twins before testing software.

The platform delivers a system-level digital twin that automotive manufacturers and suppliers can deploy immediately, enabling early virtual integration that mirrors real vehicle hardware. The technology addresses the increasing complexity of automotive hardware and software integration, as development teams face pressure to deliver faster while managing interdependencies among ADAS, autonomous driving, and infotainment functions.

“PAVE360 Automotive will empower automotive companies to innovate with confidence, agility, and scale, to realise the full potential of the software-defined vehicles,” Tony Hemmelgarn, President and Chief Executive of Siemens Digital Industries Software, said in a statement.

The platform includes customisable virtual reference designs for vehicle systems development and supports hardware-like simulation speeds using automotive intellectual property, including the Arm Zena Compute Subsystem. Siemens previously collaborated with Arm to create accelerated virtual environments for Arm Cortex-A720AE in 2024 and Arm Zena Compute Subsystems in 2025.

“With Arm Zena CSS available inside Siemens’ pre-integrated PAVE360 Automotive environment, partners can not only customise their solutions leveraging the unique flexibility of the Arm architecture but also validate and iterate much earlier in the development cycle,” Suraj Gajendra, Vice President of Products and Solutions at Arm’s Physical AI Business Unit, added.

Siemens will demonstrate the technology at CES 2026.
