Solera has announced the launch of Identifix Direct-Hit with ADAS Information, an enhanced feature that brings advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) repair and calibration data directly into the diagnostic and repair platform.

As 95% of new vehicles will feature ADAS technology by 2025, repair shops face increasing pressure to perform complex sensor and camera calibrations accurately and efficiently. The new ADAS integration within Direct-Hit simplifies this process by giving technicians direct access to OEM-specific procedures, calibration requirements and component data — all within a single, intuitive interface.

Simplifying ADAS Complexity for Modern Repair Shops

The ADAS panel within Direct-Hit acts as a centralized view for everything technicians need to diagnose, repair and calibrate ADAS systems, such as lane-keeping, adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance.

    Key capabilities include:

    • Comprehensive ADAS system mapping: Access to OEM-specific component names, locations and calibration types (static or dynamic), supported by standardized vehicle identification
    • Step-by-Step calibration procedures: Includes detailed tool requirements, OEM references and precise workflows for accurate repair execution
    • Real OEM terminology: Eliminates confusion between manufacturer systems like Honda Sensing, Toyota Safety Sense and BMW Active Driving Assistant through a unified aliasing framework that “speaks every automaker’s language”
    • OEM compliance and documentation: Direct links to OEM procedures ensure every repair meets manufacturer standards, ensures compliance and builds customer trust.

    Enhancing Productivity and Profitability

Technicians, service advisors and shop owners benefit from:

    • Efficiency: Faster access to calibration procedures and data
    • Accuracy: OEM-compliant guidance for complex systems
    • Transparency: Clear communication with customers about required ADAS services
    • Scalability: Ideal for independent shops, dealership service centers and multi-location operations looking to grow ADAS repair capabilities.

“ADAS-equipped vehicles are now the norm, and repair shops need a solution that keeps pace with this market and demand shift,” said Victoria Repice, senior vice president of product management, vehicle repair. “With ADAS integrated directly into Direct-Hit, Solera empowers technicians to work smarter, completing complex calibrations faster, more accurately and with the confidence of full OEM compliance.”

Transforming ADAS Repairs Into a Competitive Advantage

By combining Identifix Direct-Hit’s diagnostic insights with data from Solera’s Qapter claims platform, this integration creates a unified experience that bridges diagnostics, repair and calibration into one efficient workflow. The result is a streamlined process that reduces downtime, minimizes errors and positions repair shops to lead in the next generation of vehicle servicing.
