Transportes Ocón will use the 7C18e and 9C18e models for deliveries for Correos, Spain’s national postal service

Spanish logistics provider Transportes Ocón has deployed 15 all-electric eCanter trucks from Daimler Truck brand Fuso as part of its fleet renewal strategy. The vehicles, comprising 7C18e and 9C18e models, will be used for deliveries for Correos, Spain’s national postal service.

The 7.49-tonne 7C18e trucks and 8.55-tonne 9C18e variants are equipped with box bodies featuring tail lifts and can be charged using either direct current or alternating current. The vehicles operated by Transportes Ocón feature either M or L battery packs, providing ranges of up to 140km or 200km without intermediate charging.

Both models feature the Canter’s compact dimensions and high manoeuvrability characteristics. The 15 bright yellow trucks form part of Transportes Ocón’s comprehensive fleet renewal programme focused on sustainability.

“Integrating 15 Fuso eCanter trucks into our fleet underscores our commitment to sustainable, competitive and socially responsible logistics, which are the cornerstones of our vision for the future,” Eduardo Alcázar, owner of Transportes Ocón, said.
