Trinamix and Aumovio will demonstrate a touch-based blood alcohol measurement system at CES 2026 in Las Vegas
Trinamix and Aumovio will demonstrate a non-invasive blood alcohol measurement system for private and commercial vehicles at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, showcasing technology that measures blood alcohol concentration through fingertip contact with a sensor. The system uses near-infrared light that interacts with ethanol molecules in tissue under the skin, with AI-based algorithms analyzing light reflection to derive blood alcohol content, validated through a clinical study.
The touch-based sensor delivers real-time readings in seconds and features compact design for integration into various vehicle positions including displays. Trinamix provides spectroscopy and optical sensing expertise while Aumovio contributes vehicle system design and integration knowledge. The system can be configured to meet different market requirements and legal threshold levels.
Live demonstrations will take place at Trinamix booth 4565 at LVCC West Hall. The technology addresses regulatory demand for driver monitoring systems and road safety enhancement.
