Sure, an oil breather tank doesn’t have the pizazz of, say, a shiny cylinder head or supercharger, but it’s nonetheless a critical part of a high performance engine build because it helps regulate crankcase pressure and prevents excessive oil vapor from re-entering your intake and combustion chamber (which leads to poor combustion and fouled plugs).
And the folks at Moroso just showed us some new oil catch cans that do that job really, really well—particularly on high revving performance engines.

To begin with, these breather tanks are made from billet machined aluminum for both weight savings and season-after-season durability.
More importantly, inside the housing is an innovative baffled design that suppresses and traps oil mist, to prevent the breather’s filter element from getting soaked with oil under hard acceleration. (And when the time comes, the filter element is easily replaceable too.)
Better still, the catch cans come with a billet mounting bracket, and you can clock the breather housing any way you’d like to mitigate any fitment, clearance, or plumbing obstruction issues in your engine bay.

The catch can housing can be quickly disassembled for cleaning and there’s a valve to help you easily drain any trapped oil.
But perhaps the best part here is that Moroso gives you a choice of either single or dual inlets, and with either -8, -10, -12 AN fittings. Click the part numbers below for details on each one available at Summit Racing.
