Renault CEO Francois Provost is reportedly a big fan of partnerships, and a JV with Geely in Brazil could indicate things to come. By Ian Henry
In early November 2025, Renault confirmed it was selling a 26.4% stake in its Brazilian operations—Renault do Brasil—to Geely. How much Geely has paid for this stake has not been revealed, but it should be emphasised that Renault will retain shareholder control of the operation.
